About Mathlings
Mathlings is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run by teens. The headquarter is located in Pittsburgh, PA. We offer free online and onsite math classes for elementary and middle schoolers. Our classes are suitable for students who have an interest in mathematics beyond the school curriculum and wish to delve deeper into the world of competitive math.
Mission & Vision
Many smart elementary school students feel school math is too easy. They want to challenge themselves but don’t know where to start. The founders of Mathlings experienced the same obstacle when they were young. Now, they wish to lead the youths through that barrier by providing math resources, opportunities, and trainings.
Why Math Competition
Math competitions help students develop problem-solving skills and learn to think outside the box, handle pressure, and be a team player -- traits that will serve them well in any future endeavor.
